Yukon Parks campsite cancellation alerts

Yes. OpenCampsite can watch supported Yukon Parks campgrounds for openings on your dates. Choose a location below and set an email or text alert. When a check finds a match, follow the notice to the official booking site. An alert does not hold or book a campsite.

Alerts are available for 6 locations here — we watch for cancellations and new openings around the clock.

How Yukon Parks availability alerts work

  • Yukon Parks' online reservation service uses a MyYukon account. Its frontcountry campsite bookings and Tombstone backcountry bookings follow different procedures. Choose the correct trip type before searching.
  • At participating frontcountry campgrounds, half the campsites remain first come, first served. An online search covers the reservable inventory; it cannot promise that an arrival-only campsite will be free when you reach the park.
  • Reservations cannot be transferred to another person. For frontcountry stays, changes are possible before self-check-in. Backcountry changes require cancelling and booking again. Read the current terms before giving up a confirmed stay.

Yukon Parks campsite alert questions

Does a full Yukon online search mean every campsite is taken?

No. Participating frontcountry campgrounds keep half their campsites first come, first served. Those sites are separate from online reservations, and their availability on arrival is not guaranteed.

Can OpenCampsite book a Yukon Parks campsite for me?

No. We send a notice when a check finds a matching opening. You sign in and complete the reservation with the official provider. Another camper may book the site before you finish.

Does every location listed have live alerts?

Check the action beside the exact location you want. Locations with alerts let you set up a search. Other listings let you request coverage. The catalog count describes tracked locations, rather than campsites vacant on your dates.
