NPCA campsite cancellation alerts

Yes. OpenCampsite can watch supported NPCA campgrounds for openings on your dates. Choose a location below and set an email or text alert. When a check finds a match, follow the notice to the official booking site. An alert does not hold or book a campsite.

Alerts are available for 3 locations here — we watch for cancellations and new openings around the clock.

How Niagara Peninsula Conservation availability alerts work

  • The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) offers overnight camping at Chippawa Creek and Long Beach conservation areas. Other conservation-area listings may be for day visits, so choose one of the camping locations for an overnight trip.
  • Long Beach links to NPCA's official Going To Camp reservation service. Create your reservation account before trying to book a popular date.
  • Long Beach offers non-serviced sites and sites with electrical service. Select the service level and equipment type your trip needs. A vacancy in one campsite category does not confirm that another category is available.

Provider facts checked against the official sources above on October 18, 2026. Policies and features can change; the provider's own pages are authoritative.

Niagara Peninsula Conservation campsite alert questions

Which NPCA conservation areas offer camping?

NPCA identifies Chippawa Creek and Long Beach as its overnight camping areas. Check the specific park's booking page for operating dates, campsite types, and facilities.

Can OpenCampsite book a NPCA campsite for me?

No. We send a notice when a check finds a matching opening. You sign in and complete the reservation with the official provider. Another camper may book the site before you finish.

Does every location listed have live alerts?

Check the action beside the exact location you want. Locations with alerts let you set up a search. Other listings let you request coverage. The catalog count describes tracked locations, rather than campsites vacant on your dates.
